And that AMD Ryzen 5900HS CPU is as powerful a mobile chip as you will find today. It’s a great machine at full price, and well worth your time with this hefty a discount in place.

This is our pick for the best gaming chair, and you’ll know why once you sit in it. Or read our review. As for this specific design, it is one of the more understated of the lot. Its not as sensual to the touch as the Softweave fabric choice, but still boasts immaculately upholstered, premium quality Neo Hybrid Leatherette, and of course fantastic ergonomics.

This is bang-on what we think is the right deal price for an RTX 3060 Ti gaming desktop, and it’s not just giving you the GPU and skimping on the rest of the spec. The Intel Core i7 is a capable eight-core chip, the 16GB memory is exactly what you want from a modern gaming PC, and the 480GB SSD is just about big enough for Windows and a few key games. I would doubt it’s an NVMe SSD, but even a SATA drive is far quicker than a standard hard drive.

You’d ideally want to up the CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600G, RAM to 16GB, and SSD to a 512GB model too, but you’ll soon find yourself way over $1,000 if you do.

Flick through the specifications of this gaming monitor and you’ll be surprised to see how much is on offer at this price: 170Hz, FreeSync Premium, IPS panel, 0.5ms response time. All good stuff, and there are tons of really positive reviews for this one online, including this one from our sister site Tom’s Hardware, which makes it look like quite the deal.

This definitely feels like the pinnacle of TVs for us in 2021, and it sets an exciting precedent for big-screen gaming to come.

The final discounted price is listed at checkout. This NZXT PC is closer to the price we’d expect to find an RTX 3070 PC than one fitted with an RTX 3070 Ti. With an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X at the helm, too, and a good amount of RAM and storage space, this PC will be capable of high refresh 1440p and taking on 4K. Not to mention it’ll despatch 1080p at very high frames per second indeed.

Yet another G15 deal, but this really is quite special coming in at under $800. You get a six-core, 12-thread CPU, and that’s also a chunky SSD for a gaming laptop at this price, too.

High-refresh 1440p monitors are where it’s at right now, and this LG UltraGear screen is a great example of why that’s the case. Big, bold, and bright, it’ll make pretty much everything you play look great, and that 165Hz refresh rate will make it silky smooth too. This is a great deal.

Windows 11, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB NVMe SSD are all present and correct. It’s more than you have to spend to get an RTX 3070, but the other specs are good enough to warrant the price.

Plus, that’s a nice chunk of storage to keep you going.

This isn’t quite as good a deal as some systems we’ve spotted, but it does come with three free games from Intel and Nvidia. Plus it looks the part and comes with out of the box components, so some might prefer that to the more pre-built Dell systems above. Worth considering then, with a decent discount.

I wouldn’t recommend this laptop at its MSRP, but seeing as it’s currently on sale under $700, it’s actually not a bad way to get yourself gaming at 1080p and reasonably high settings. The RTX 3050 isn’t massively powerful, though it is enough so to deliver decent frame rates in modern games. Plus it support DLSS, which will really help you hit that 120Hz refresh in supported games. There’s definitely some potential upgrades you could do to make this better, such as the SSD and the RAM, but it’s not a bad starting point. That CPU is actually really good, too.

This really is a steal for under $3,000.

It’s a bit of a trade-off situation between these two sub-$1,000 G15 machines. This cheaper version does come with a larger 512GB SSD, but the RTX 3050 Ti and single channel 8GB memory means it’s a weaker all-round gaming laptop compared with the all-AMD version. But then, it is also over $100 cheaper.

Combine that with great storage and RAM capacity, and you’re looking at a do-it-all productivity pad.

With an 11th gen Intel processor, this thin, light lappy is bound to see you right for $540. It doesn’t have the mega core-count of some chips, but Hyper-Threading means performance is practically doubled from previous generations. Just bear in mind this laptop was a touch cheaper earlier in the week, and so may drop in price again.

Samsung’s G7 is a popular screen, and that’s no doubt thanks to its great panel quality and high refresh rate. It also supports both Nvidia and AMD variable refresh rate technologies, and comes with a flattering IPS panel.

BenQ’s EL2870U is an excellent low-cost path to 4K: The 60Hz refresh rate may put off competitive shooter fans, but the image quality is outstanding. “For those wanting 4K and HDR on a budget, it’s easy to recommend,” we said in our 89% review. And at this price, it’s even easier.

From the ‘go big or go home’ school of monitor design, this curved monster is for anyone that wants to hit that truly immersive gaming experience. At 3840×1600 it has the same horizontal resolution as a 4K panel, but it isn’t quite as tall—it’ll still punish your graphics card though. The 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response times, and VESA DisplayHDR 600 round out an impressive overall package.

Reportedly in stock soon. Here, you’re getting supreme 5120 x 1440 pixels spanning 49 inches to wrap yourself in your favorite game worlds. It’s QLED, so not as impressive as OLED tech, but you do get a speedy 240Hz monitor from a trusted manufacturer, and AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.

The impeccable colour you get from this immense 34-inch screen in pretty nice, and the contrast isn’t bad either. This is a 3440 x 1440p VA panel which is a good resolution for this size monitor. For gaming you get a 144Hz refresh to make the most of high frame rates, and G-Sync and Freesync, to boot.

Ultrawides are excellent, and for gaming they may well be a smarter upgrade if you’re worrying about dropping lots of cash on high-refresh 4K and a capable graphics card. This Dell screen came out this year, not all that long ago even, and has solid reviews across the web. Definitely one to look at if you want to get into the world of ultrawide gaming.

This monitor boasts both high-end performance and serious style, with a stand you’ll never want to go back from. 4K is best viewed above 32-inches, and you don’t really want to forgo on picture quality when you’re paying for extra pixels. Now all you need is a great graphics card to feed it with a constant flow of frames.

If you want to go bigger than your peers, then this 43-inch monitor is a good fit. You lose out on the quality IPS of the smaller screen, but instead, you get a VA with Quantum Dot tech. Note this is an ‘open box’ discount, so it’s worth checking you’re happy with that before buying.

You know we said don’t settle for a 60Hz or a TN panel? Well, here we are recommending both in just one panel, but this is a 4K monitor from a good brand at a really tempting price, so we’ll make an exception. A 28-inch panel at 3840×2160 makes for a pleasing 157ppi and if you need to work as well as play, then 4K does make for a more productive time.

Flick through the specifications of this gaming monitor and you’ll be surprised to see how much is on offer at this price: 170Hz, FreeSync Premium, IPS panel, 0.5ms response time. All good stuff, and there are tons of really positive reviews for this one online, including this one from our sister site Tom’s Hardware, which makes it look like quite the deal.

As we said at the beginning, high-refresh 1440p monitors are where it’s at right now, and this LG UltraGear screen is a great example of why that’s the case. Big, bold, and bright, it’ll make pretty much everything you play look great, and that 165Hz refresh rate will make it silky smooth too. This is a great deal.

You may be able to get IPS and VA panels for this sort of cash, but there’s still something to be said for this speedy TN screen for gaming. High-refresh rates and 1ms response times make it a punchy offering, and viewed straight on the colors are decent. It’s got a tiny bezels on the top and sides for multi-screen setups, and also supports AMD FreeSync for smooth gaming.

32 inches may make 1080p seem a tad stretched, but this is still a pretty good deal on a vast, curved gaming monitor—that’s even without the ridiculous 0.5ms response, and 240Hz refresh rate. Here you’re getting excellent contrast, accurate color, and AMD FreeSync to help reduce screen tear.

This 1080p gaming monitor offers a ridiculously fast refresh rate, and so will need one of the newer G-Sync compatible graphics cards to make the most of it. ROG Swift’s IPS panels are great, though, offering deep, clear colors while still providing good response times. It’s a little on the small size, but if you’re short of space, this is worth your consideration.

One whole terabyte of NVMe storage is what’s on offer here. And sure, it’s no lightning-fast PCIe 4.0 SSD, but they’re twice the price for this big a drive. And it’s still around 4x the speed of a SATA SSD and I can’t even calculate how much faster it is than your old hard drive. Will make a speedy extension to your games library, or a decent boot drive in its own right.

Seagate FireCuda 530 | 1TB | PCIe 4.0 | $249.99 $189.99 at Newegg (save $54)
The FireCuda 530 is one of the fastest drives around but is held back somewhat by its high price. With the SN850 and 980 Pro offering roughly the same performance but for a lot less, it’s been hard to unreservedly recommend Seagate’s drove. This $40 saving helps on that front, and if you’re looking for some super speedy storage, this won’t disappoint.

It wasn’t that long ago that this was the overall best SSD you could get your hands on. While we’ve had faster PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs recently, this is still a decent buy, especially at this price. 2TB of speedy NVMe storage will cover you for a good chunk of your steam library, and it’ll make Windows fly too.

This Special Edition take on the SN750 supports PCIe 4.0, although the throughput of 3,600MB/s is only just better than the best PCIe 3.0 drives. It is however a decent price for a 1TB SSD that offers decent 4K read and write performance. Not the fastest drive around, but at under $100, it’s not a bad deal by any means.

Kingston NV1 | 2TB | PCIe 3.0 | $199.99 $144.99 at Adorama (save $60)
This is absolutely a budget NVMe SSD, but one that rolls in at such a good price that it’s almost impossible to ignore. The performance won’t trouble other NVMe drives, but it’ll still leave any SATA drive eating dust. It’s DRAM-less and fairly barebones, but for the money, you can’t really complain.

Out of all the next-gen PCIe 4.0 SSDs we’ve tested, this is the one that stands out as offering the absolute best performance around. It runs a bit on the toasty side, so you’ll need good airflow in your system, but once you’ve got that sorted you’ll enjoy incredible performance in your games.

This is a pretty good price for a big ol’ chunk of SSD storage. If you’re looking to boot the hard drives out of your rig, then this is one of the more affordable ways of doing so. Samsung’s a good brand, and while the 870 QVO is nothing to get excited about in terms of performance, it’ll serve you well.

 This is a pretty nippy little sata SSD, renowned for its consistency in 530MB/s read and around 510MB/s write speed averages. And there’s enough space here to rid yourself of that pesky HDD for good—and it’s especially worth is for that price.

Best Buy may be pushing it a bit with that saving as this drive hasn’t been that much for years, but this is still a 1TB SATA drive from a respected brand for under $90. It’ll outperform a hard drive any day of the week, and it won’t be as hot or noisy when doing so. Reads peak at 560MB/s with writes a little slow at 530MB/s, but both are close to the interface’s maximum throughput. 

SanDisk Extreme Portable | 1TB | USB 3.2 | $239.99 $129.99 at Best Buy (save $110)
This IP55 rated drive is dust-proof and water-resistant, is sturdy enough to survive being dropped, and features hardware encryption to keep the contents private too. With transfer speeds up to 1,050MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2 it’s no slouch when it comes to throwing files around either. And hey, it looks pretty good too.

This is our fave external SSD even when it’s selling at its normal price, so with this chunky 33% saving, it’s a steal. Seriously speedy reads and writes, impervious to dust and water, and all for a bargain price. You’ll do well to find anything better right now—you will need a speedy USB 3.2 port to get the very best from it mind.

Let’s be clear: This chair looks absolutely ridiculous, and like a lot of cheap gaming chairs it’s probably not built to last. Its LED lighting is almost surely tacky as hell. But if you live for that over-the-top RGB life, by god, this is the glowy chair for you.

Steelcase makes fantastic office chairs, and the Leap is their (slightly) more affordable model. You can dial in the seat depth, lumbar support, and arms however you like. Expect this thing to last you a decade and keep your back and behind better supported than any of the gaming chairs above.

Referred to as the King Chair at PC Gamer for many years, the Gesture is Steelcase’s finest chair, and amazingly discounted to be as cheap as the Leap right now. It’ll cost more if you add on the optional headrest, but even in this base configuration it’s one of the finest office chairs ever made, with tons of adjustment options and a back that magically reclines just as much as you want it to. If you plan to splurge for a high-end office chair, make it this one.

This is our pick for the best gaming chair, and you’ll know why once you sit in it. Or read our review. As for this specific design, it is one of the more understated of the lot. Its not as sensual to the touch as the Softweave fabric choice, but still boasts immaculately upholstered, premium quality Neo Hybrid Leatherette, and of course fantastic ergonomics.

Wrapped in Secretlab prime 2.0 PU Leather, this Classic Omega gaming chair is the more reasonably priced choice. It may not come with magnetic headrests but it’s highly adjustable, and there are more designs to choose from than with the Titan.

Usually almost $500, this is a hulking saving. It’s not the most well padded and in full recline apparently feels a little precarious, but it’s comfortable, well built, and great for wider folks.

The Aeron has long been office chair royalty. It’s highly customisable, like the Embody above, but is made from lighter, mesh fabrics. It’s very comfortable, too, though we do prefer the gaming stylings of the Embody as well. Still, the Aeron is a great option if you’re willing to invest in your desk setup with a superb ergonomic chair.

The Vertagear SL5000 offers all the features you’d expect from a gaming chair at this price, and that means plenty of adjustability and style. One thing it offers that others don’t, however, and it is an expensive optional extra, is RGB LED lighting around the top of the chair. I mean if that’s your style, it certainly has a unique selling point. It is $239.99 on sale, though. Ouch.

Another lower-priced option, the Staples Emerge Vartan is an upgrade over the Vortex, with a bonded leather back and seat, a higher back, office chair-style center tilt, and adjustable lumbar support. It also comes with additional head and lumbar pillows, supports up to 275 pounds, and offers an extra color option: The Vartan is available with blue, white, red, and purple accents.

You might not expect to find a gaming chair among Dell’s own deals, but the company has a whole range of Alienware gaming accessories and peripherals. This chair is actually a match for Vertagear’s by nearly the same name, so you can rest assured it’s from a reliable manufacturer. The Seiren Mini is the mic I have sat on my desktop right now, and it’s a beauty. It’s a little lozenge of microphone joy for the casual user, with a price tag to match. You can get it in white or black, too, but only this super-cure little pink one is discounted right now. It’s a super-simple mic, using the internals of more expensive options within a basic package. I mean, there’s not even a mute button… 

Blue Yeti Nano | USB | Multiple pickup patterns | $99.99 $79.99 at Amazon (save $20)
Blue mics have been the gold standard for streaming microphones for the longest time, and the Yeti Nano carries on that tradition with an affordable, accurate, but simple design that packs all sound quality of the Yetis that have gone before it. And it’s got a great name. Makes me think of a tiny abominable snowman, and that pleases me.

But it’s got great picture quality and will do 4K passthrough so you can game at 4K and output at 1080p for capture and streaming.

This is my boy, my absolute favorite gaming mouse, and the one sat at my right hand right now. It’s frustratingly expensive normally, but at this price you are getting an accurate, responsive mouse with that iconic DeathAdder styling. A true weapon of a gaming rodent.

With the same triple-threat of magnetically interchangeable button plates as its pricier Pro sibling, the Naga Trinity is one of the best MMO mice out there. If you want to go all out on your gaming mouse, the Razer Basilisk Ultimate is the way to go. With the included charging dock, though, you can take the hassle out of charging your battery.

A lightweight and compact mouse with a great sensor. Though it’s not got the highest DPI in the business, it boasts great ergonomics and decent build quality, too—there’s not much more you can ask at that price.

EVGA X17 gaming mouse | 16,000 DPI | 8K Hz polling rate | $79.99 $24.99 at Amazon (Save $55)
EVGA recently decided to do away with the more traditional 1,000Hz polling rate in favour of an 8K one, which it says is that much faster for competitive gaming. The X17 is the wired mouse with said high polling rate, and it’s a pretty nifty mouse besides that, too. 

Logitech G502 Hero | 25,000 DPI | Wired | Right handed | $49.99 $39.99 at Target (save $10)
It’s not the biggest saving, but it does mean that this Logitech classic of a gaming mouse is now available for less than $40, which feels like a bargain. The angular shape might put you off initially, but it’s super comfortable in the hand, and the Logitech Hero sensor is one of the best around.

Top of our best gaming keyboards, this opto-mechanical wonder is super responsive, and nicely premium when it comes to build quality. For under $100 it’s certainly worth a look, though you’ll have to get both Elgato and iCue softwares to make it work. Still, the only other downside was the price. Not so much right now.

Logitech has put together a very safe keyboard in the G413, and one we’ve come to appreciate for its simplicity and function. It’s mechanical, using Logitech’s own Romer-G switches, and is built to last. Only thing is it’s available with red lighting and not RGB. I know that’ll be a dealbreaker for some, but for a mechanical keyboard it’s great value.

If you’re after a lightweight, stylish headset for gaming, these will see you right. They can be a little inconsistent, but the mic is top tier, you’ll be gaming in incredible comfort with these babies strapped to your brainhole.

As the wired version of the Cloud II, you don’t get the same freedom as the wireless model, but you still get some supreme quality cans. And with a detachable mic, 7.1 surround, and a sturdy, light frame, these will see you right in comfort.

Similar to the Cloud II, the Alpha S has great quality sound and reliable build quality behind it, with a little more frequency range. This pair of Logitech headphones offers the basics done well. It’s usually a bit expensive for our tastes, but at 50% off we’re more than happy to recommend it. Logitech makes good gear, and while simple, sometimes there’s not much more you want in a gaming headset.

The EPOS (née Sennheiser) Game One’s have been a very popular gaming headset for a while now, and these Drop versions take that formula and deliver it at a decent price with discount. It’s not often we see many open-back gaming headsets, with a microphone included, and that makes for a more open, wider sound without having to buy separate gear.

This pair of headphones is based on the venerable Sennheiser HD 650s, which our Jacob just so happens to own. He loves his pair and couldn’t recommend them enough if you’re just getting into high-end audio. These HD 6XX are reportedly as much a match for the HD 650s, too, though they come in a swanky blue instead of Sennheiser’s grey. You’ll want an amp/DAC for these, which Drop also offer in the O2, though Jacob recommends a Schiit combo. He’s not joking. 

Drop + Sennheiser HD 8XX headphones | Wired | Open-back | $1,100 $949 at Drop (save $151)
The Sennheiser HD 800 S are our Jacob’s dream headphones, and these HD 8XX from Sennheiser and Drop are made in their image. They’re pretty darn similar, too, with the same construction and factory of origin. Yet the HD 8XX have been tweaked a little bit, which reportedly makes them slightly less neutral sounding than the HD 800 S, and so ultimately offer a different listening experience.

The BlackShark V2 Pro is the pro version of the headset at the top of our list, and by that Razer means it’s wireless. With a banging frequency response and the added convenience of a wireless design, we cant recommend these enough.

Corsair’s aggressive-looking gamer headset offers comfort and quality, which you might not find many wireless headphones do at this price. It’s currently sitting at the cheapest price we’ve seen it at all year, and if you enjoy it’s gamer aesthetic, it’s definitely a good buy.

Corsair impresses with its budget take on the wireless headset, featuring impressively robust build quality and an overall no-nonsense headset. The sound quality is really impressive for the money too. The battery life isn’t as strong as some, but it’s still a decent offering, especially at this reduced price.

A little edgy looking, but still a well rounded headset. You don’t get the immense frequency response range that some have, but they’re comfortable, and come with surround sound. Being wireless they’re also freeing, so that’s nice.

This chip is brand new, but Newegg has already slashed $20 off its retail price. Stunning. This is a seriously impressive chip too—it runs circles around even the 11th Gen Core i9, so you don’t want to spend too much on one of those while this chip is available. The only downside here is a higher platform cost, as only the more premium Z690 chipset is currently available to purchase.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | 16-core, 32-thread | 105W | $799.99 $718.89 at Amazon (save $82)
If you need true CPU power, then this is the processor you want. It’s still a big pile of cash for a processor, but if you’re a gamer that also has a creative bent, then this will pay for itself quickly enough. 3D rendering, video encoding, and raw number-crunching all benefit from the huge amount of cores on offer here. That it’s an awesome gaming chip as well is just the icing on the cake.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G | eight-Core, 16-thread | 65W | $359 $309.99 at Best Buy (save $50)
This isn’t a massive saving, to be fair, but given you don’t need a graphics card with this capable APU for some light gaming, it’s still a decent bargain. You get a full-fat eight-core, 16-thread chip that will handle serious tasks every bit as well as more expensive offerings. We liked this chip a lot when we reviewed it. It comes with a cooler too.

Intel Core i3 10100F | four-core, eight-thread | 65W | $129 $91.89 at Amazon (save $37)
There was once a time when a four-core/eight-thread CPU such as this would’ve ruled the lineup as the top Core i7. Those days are over, and have been for a while, and now you can find a chip that’s equally as good for gaming under $100. Pick up a cheaper 400-series chipset and you’ll be able to build a more than capable gaming PC with this at its heart. Just bear in mind you will need a discrete GPU for this, as there’s no iGPU on the chip.

Intel Core i5 11600K | six-core, 12-thread | 125W | $299.99 $229.99 at Newegg (save $70)
Of all the 11th Gen chips, it was the Core i5 11600K that stood out to us as a good deal for gamers. That said, it’s recently been replaced by the more capable Core i5 12600K, though you can’t find that for anywhere near as cheap. Bonus here is you can also save cash on a cheaper motherboard, so it’s all-round a great pick for a budget PC.

If your budget won’t stretch to dropping $300 on a cutting-edge CPU and a new platform, then this six-core, 12-thread Rocket Lake chip still packs a mighty punch for the money. With a max clock speed of 4.4GHz and a pleasingly low TDP of 65W, you can drop this chip into a mid-range B500 motherboard to make for a great foundation for a gaming rig.

This is a great memory kit for both AMD and Intel-powered machines, with a decent speed and low latency. It’s not quite the rapid pace of DDR5, which has now entered the scene, but it’s a great kit nonetheless. The price of this kit fluctuates weekly, but this is a low asking price for this RAM over the past year.

You’ll struggle to find this much system memory, at this speed, for this little cash. G.Skill is a well-known brand, too, so this isn’t some bargain basement kit either. If anyone’s feeling the need to give their gaming rig or video editing suite a sweet upgrade this is one of the most affordable ways to do so.

This Crucial kit offers a hefty upgrade for one lucky laptop. Going by Amazon’s past pricing, this kit rarely drops near the $100 mark, so if you’re looking around for an upgrade, this capable kit may well be a good fit. It’s made by Crucial, which means you’re getting Micron RAM, really, meaning it’s coming from one of the largest memory makers going. Just make sure to check your laptop’s compatibility before you hit checkout.

Corsair’s Vengeance RAM has found a home in many a desktop PC, but there’s also a mobile equivalent if you fancy it. This isn’t as cheap as the Crucial stuff we’ve seen, nor at such a discount, but the price for this kit has been dropping over the year, and it’s currently sitting at its lowest price ever by my reckoning. Corsair doesn’t specify who makes the RAM chips for every kit, but it has been known to use Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron chips in the past. So a bit of everything.

This kit may be overkill for a pure gaming machine, but PC gamers often pay no attention to those sorts of sensibilities. If you’re using your laptop for a lot more than gaming, however, this is definitely a great upgrade, and one of few you can do to your laptop to make it purr. This kit is down to its lowest price we’ve seen it at ever, so now might be the time to take a plunge. Just make sure your laptop supports up to 64GB of memory. Some don’t.
